While spending most of my time writing music for a new album, I will also be playing a handful of concerts in Norway this summer.
I’ll be bringing the amazing Trondhemsolistene string quartet with me to Trænafestivalen, where I also will have guest musicians from the Unsongs project featuring. On top of that, the concert is to take place in the breathtaking Kirkehelleren, the enormous cavern on the uninhabited island Sanna.
The string quartet will also be joining me for an intimate church concert at Steinkjerfestivalen, one with one of the best line-ups I’ve seen at any Norwegian festival in a long time. I will also be doing a reading of my book … when I’m not out watching other bands play.
Last but not least, I’m mobilising my whole band for an exclusive appearance on the Bukta festival in Tromsø, with the amazing Elle Márjá Eira starring as guest singer.
These three concerts will be the only headline shows we’re doing this summer, while gathering more material for a new album. See you out there!
